How to Make a Mason Jar Soap Dispenser

How to Make a Mason Jar Soap Dispenser

Lately, we’ve been noticing that our bathroom’s been looking a bit dull lately, and we figured that we could make it better by making some changes to some of the more simple items. We decided to take an ordinary soap dispenser and created something more personal. We took the distressed mason jar that we had created and made our own, awesome soap dispenser!

What you’ll need:

Mason Jar
Glue Gun
Top of a store bought Soap Dispenser
Dremel

Step 1 – The first thing that you’ll need to do is create a hole in the middle of the lid of the mason jar. We just used a dremel to do so, but I’m sure there are many other ways to accomplish this! Make sure that the hole is just big enough for the bottom of the soap dispenser pump. Figuring out the correct size of the hole wasn’t that hard either, just keep trying to see if the soap dispenser fits.

Step 2 – Now, you must glue the lid to the pump. Place a few drops around the bottom of the pump and slowly push the lid up to the pump. You’re already almost done!

Step 3 – Before you screw the lid back onto the mason jar, you should decide on how you’ll decorate the jar iteself. Get creative with it! Like I said, we used a distressed mason jar but it’s all up to you!

Now that you’ve completed the mason jar soap dispenser, you can see how it lightens up your bathroom or kitchen! How will you guys decorate your mason jar?
